Summer Worship for Children

Posted on June 18, 2008. Filed under: Parent Resources, Summer Programs |

Sunday school classes are not in session during the summer, however, children are invited to be a part of worship.

Children's Worship StationChildren’s sermons, Family express, and Monday night services at Marysville, all provide opportunities for families to worship together. A new Children’s Worship Station is available near the sanctuary with resources for young worshipers. Young worshipers, make a stop at the Children’s Worship Station when coming to worship on Sunday morning. If you’re in the mood for Rainbow Bags of quiet worship toys/books, children’s bulletins that dig into the Bible story for the Sunday sermon, and drawing tools for coloring or puzzle solving you’ll find resources every week at the worship station to the right of the center sanctuary doors.

If you’d like to be a young “worship host” 15 minutes before worship begins to hand out bulletins and rainbow bags to other children who come to worship we’d like your help on any of the summer Sundays. Contact Sherilyn Burgdorf to sign up for a few Sundays. sburgdorf@zionbuffalo.org or 682.1245 ext. 307.

Also, watch for more details on “Sanctuary Sunday”, which will be the fourth Sunday of each month starting in the fall.
